We did it!!! Our little Family Business, JBBM Marketing, has made it to the ONE YEAR mark!! Tonight we celebrated with a Ribbon Cutting with the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce! (UCCCC)
Our Chamber Family is just that… Family! As a family business specializing in small business marketing, the UCCCC has been an invaluable support and resource base, connecting us with the tools and networking opportunities to build our business.
We are so grateful to this community for encouraging and supporting us in pursuit of our dream. And a big Thank you to our clients that trust us to market their brand and promote them on so many levels! We are blessed to be #LocalsSupportingLocals !!
As a bonus for us (and you)- we teamed up with our dear family friends, St. Eve’s Noel, (Steve & Noel) to have their Ribbon Cutting too!! Their story of rebuilding and restructuring after they lost not just one, but two locations when Hurricane Harvey hit, is inspiring to say the least! Last night, the night before their Ribbon Cutting, their home caught on fire! Losing their studio and supplies! Check out her page to show some extra love!! They were there and continuing to wow everyone with their incredible artwork, jewelry and attitude towards life!!!
Noel is an AMAZING artist specializing in Sea Creatures and Coastal Bend wildlife themed pieces. Together, they also have a fine jewelry line of custom pieces featuring nautical themed original pieces. One of the most popular is the Mermaid Tail design. Some of her pieces were on display for the event too! I had to buy one of her Mermaid Tail Necklaces tonight!!!
I’ve gotten a little ahead of myself though!! Here are the details of the night!!
We had the Ribbon Cutting’s at the Grand View Lounge on the 11th floor of the Best Western Downtown!! This room has an incredible view overlooking the bay!!!
My mom, grandmother, and I made our own Ribbon to cut! When JBBM Marketing puts on an event, we love to go above and beyond! Step outside the box! Give you something to talk about!!! So we couldn’t hold back for our own Ribbon Cutting!!!
We had door prizes with gift certificates and coupons from local businesses around town!! We are 100% about #localsupportinglocal!!!
Fulton Kettle Corn provided multiple flavors of Kettle Corn for our Popcorn Bar!!! We bought the candy toppings at the grocery store and had little cups for everyone to make their own mix!! They had Original Kettle Corn, Carmel Apple, Big Red, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavors!!!
They even have a #CCBarbie bag of Sugar Free Kettle Corn! Named after my mom who can’t have sugar!! They had bags for sell too!! They are our favorite!!!

The Jewelry is all hand crafted sterling silver, gold and bits from their travels around the world!
I wish I would’ve gotten a closer up photo of the paintings! They are truly amazing!!!! The smallest details are put into these large oil paintings! It’s hard to tell if they are actual photographs or paintings!!!
Bella Luna Downtown provided the appetizers for the evening!! My favorites were the meatballs!! Penelope loved the Mushroom Ravioli!!! It was all delicious though!!!
David Martinez with the David Martinez Band played live music for us throughout the night!! He always sets the perfect mood for an event!! We love hearing him play!! Make sure to check out his Facebook page too to hear his music!!!

If it wasn’t for my mom starting this dream of hers/ours, I wouldn’t be able to stay home with my precious daughter, have this blog, do brand repping with Penelope, basically have the life I do now!!
