Penelope’s dad && grandparents have made it known that they love handmade baby crafts && being an aspiring “Pinterest Perfect Mama” 😜 I feel like I need to hold up my end of the deal!

Here was our finished product:

For Valentines, we made little plaques with Penelope’s footprint on it!! We started with a plain wooden decorative plaque from Michaels!

Paint it White! Painting it will help the paint and marker later from bleeding on the plaque!

Paint baby’s foot red! I had to give Penelope a toy to distract her from wiggling around!

Place baby’s foot on the plaque!

Use black paint to paint the heel of the foot, antennas, && heart spots as below! For the hearts, make upside down v’s if that helps you!

I used a marker to write “Our Little Love Bug” && her name! Don’t forget to write the year on the back!!

Ta-Da all done!! Here are some more of Penelope’s Valentine photos!! I wasn’t planning on her reading her book in the photos but she grabbed it and was having too much fun with it!! I love our little Valentine!!
